So today, when I came to class, as usual, all the lefty desks were taken. Nothing new. Here's the infuriating part:
-Half of those people were using laptops. Since you type with both hands, it doesn't matter if the laptop is slightly to the left or to the right. Sure you can be slightly angled, but why would you want to angle yourself facing away from the professor is beyond me. If its hard to understand, just sit on the left side of the lecture hall on a lefty desk and try to write and you'll probably face the wall. Then move so some other lefty doesn't get pissed off at you.
-Of those half using laptops, half didn't even use the desk, they just placed the laptop on their lap. Smarter, at least this way they're facing the right way. Still, don't hog up a lefty desk if you're not going to write with your left hand.
-The half not using laptops that were right handed, eventually got tired of facing a wall when they wrote, so they just put their notebook on their right thigh, and wrote on that.
-There was only one guy on the lefty desks actually writing with his left hand. More power to him.
So then I glanced around, and realized the guy directly in front of me was a lefty (we were both sitting on a righty desk to the right of the lefty desk) and we kept glaring at the guy right next to us.
