I broke my right flip flop. It sucks. I wore them to paint senior parking spots (so they're all spotty and stuff). Oh well. It's bound to happen sooner or later.
Walking back to my dorm with only one flip flop was... an experience. It wasn't too bad when I was on the streets.. but as soon as I got near the lagoon it was pretty nasty.. and the path next to the lagoon has some pretty sharp rocks. So I had a layer of gunk on my foot by the time I made it back to my room.
Lesson learned. Don't walk near the lagoon barefoot.
